I stopped by to visit my mom and ended up staying for lunch. Talk about a restaurant atmosphere and the food was delicious. This place has all the whistles and is so nice. We have definitely picked the right place for our mom. She’s always happy as well which is a great thing. I was telling my mom that we could go out and do some shopping but she said she had craft class and music after that. I so appreciate the Verena and how they’ve put a smile on mom’s face. Thank you

From coming in the door and being welcomed so nicely to talking to the residents that live there. This place is gorgeous. They have a wonderful team as well. When I stopped by the residents were listening to music while others were in their set room making ornaments. They definitely keep you busy here.

Verena is more than I expected - love my apartment w a patio; gourmet meals served in a lovely dining room; too many activities to attend and friendly staff and residents. Downside: its far from shops but has library access and paved woods path.

The staff members have been very welcoming and have made themselves available to discuss any issues, questions, or just to chat. Staff very friendly and nice to work with. Cottages reasonable to rent. They should certainly consider Verena at Hilliard.

It's attached to the public library. No need to even go outside. It is a nice place that I would definitely recommend to others.

Truly we are family at Verena. We know one another’s name without their name tag. We pretty much know how many children they have and where they lived. We know what you have done in the past. We know about your health because we are concerned about one another. At the dinner table or at breakfast table we will laugh at one another and with one another and we know where we can joke and we cannot. My husband, [name removed], and I have been living in one of the Verena cottages for about a month. We are very happy that we made the move. We have a beautiful view of the pond from our back patio. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light coming in through the many windows. Of course, with any new build there are glitches to work out.
