Toured this facility twice and had lunch once. It is very clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Verena to anyone looking for a retirement facility. Was pleased and impressed at the closed spaces for ‘stuff’ - which is what I need.

Previously booked an appointment but happened to be in vicinity so decided to drop in. Marketing personnel were out on tour with other clients. Was greeted by resident who was most helpful in securing a brochure and answering questions. Resident was very positive about the services and amenities! Certainly a site to add to your search for senior living, etc.!

I came in for a tour to check out this community for my parents. What a beautiful place and setting. While I was there they had a musician that was fantastic. I looked over at my dad and he was tapping his fingers agreeing with what he heard. The staff was so sweet starting at the front door. My dad is very quiet and shy and when he saw his name on the board he started chuckling. He looked at my mom and said look there, we are stars. I am a resident here at the Verena at Hilliard. I have been so for the last 2 years. When I first moved in, I was nervous, quiet and to myself. Mostly depressed because my husband had just died. I met a lot of the other residents, but I still stayed to myself. After a month or two I came out and attended a musical activity. I have been going to more and more activities as my confidence has changed. I met a few other residents and have become very close to them. If you want a place that eases your mind when you talk your parents into downsizing, well this is it. I just did this after looking at many and I mean many communities in the surrounding areas. They have brought my parents out of their shell and have got them coming to bible studies, exercise classes, musical events and they are even going out on trips. Their favorite so far is the covered bridge tour. Thank you staff at Verena for placing a huge smile on my parent's face.

I have been a resident of Verena at Hilliard since March, 2023 and I love living here. I am happy to share with you the reasons for my contentment : I don't have to cook and the food is delicious! I don't need to mow the lawn, shovel snow, clean the gutters or trim the shrubs. I can easily get to church, shopping and doctors. I love and respect the staff and fellow residents. I can visit the library in a few minutes, rain or shine. I love meeting new friends and sharing their experiences. Soooo, I ask What's Not To Like????

I would like to tell you about a place that I didn't even know existed. This place is the Verena at Hilliard. It is a 55+ place and it is beautiful. So clean and inviting. I stopped by last week. I am looking for a place for my mom. The staff from the start was so nice and kind. The lady at the front desk welcomed me and without any hesitation asked me to have a seat in a conference room setting while she asked for a sales lady to come and talk to me. It is a warm visit from the time you enter the building. The front desk staff were amazing and each team member greeted me as I walked through. The food was outstanding and the servers were pleasant. This is a place I can see my mother living.
