Moved from Florida 3 years ago, had an excellent dentist back home and was shocked at how hard it was to find a good dentist out in Colorado. The first dentist I went to told me I had 6 cavities and needed to have extensive dental work done, I knew this wasn't accurate and canceled my appointments. This was the best dental experience I could have had given it was my first one 2 years after traumatic ones I had at Comfort Dental Cherry Creek in 2019. Both Nancy and Dr. Cate read what I wrote in the new patient comments on the intake forms online, and Nancy received me warmly and lovingly. Made an appointment about three months in advance and filled out all the paperwork. Receptionist called on the day of my appointment saying the hygienist is sick and my appointment had to be canceled (happy the hygienist stayed home though). Tried to reschedule but couldn’t get an appointment for 4 months from now — other option would be to put me on the cancellation list (and I don’t have that kind of flexibility in my schedule at the moment, and need to see a dentist). I’ve had some really terrible dentist in Denver and by sharp contrast Dr. Kate is one of the best overall dentist I’ve had. My family and I have had dental emergencies, fillings, cleaning and we love Dr. Kate and her staff. As a dentist she has a gentle touch and is very thorough, explaining what she’s doing throughout the procedure. She also is very considerate of my natural/holistic approach to health. I've had more dental appts than haircuts in my life and Dr Cate is by far the best dentist I've known. She is available for emergencies, too. I recommend her to anyone who wants the most advanced dental health care, no matter your location, this Greenwood Village office is worth the drive! The dental hygienist is also the kindest and most thorough in the business for fantastic cleanings!
