Ordering the appraisal sooner, communicating with myself, the title company and the buyer's broker (especially when there were delays), not having the title company re-run closing docs 5 times and completing the closing on time (not over a month late.

I am the listing broker and I don't want to be involved in the buyers personal loan process, other than working with the buyer's broker. I would prefer all loan related communications to be between the real estate brokers. In my opinion, the lender is working with the buyer and should keep all communications direct with the buyer's broker. This will create less errors and frustrations. Also, a lender should know not assume what costs belong to a buyer or seller, unless required by the loan.
