My dad has been in for less than 2 weeks. So far, he has done well. However, he is now in the hospital with pneumonia. I am hoping he will return to Victoria Ct soon. The staff is pleasant, he seems to like the food, his room is nice. There are many activities to keep him busy and active.

They do an excellent job here overall. The staff are excellent about communicating and staying in touch with families, which I appreciate since I do not live in the same state. It is a nice, clean facility, the staff are friendly, and they attend to all of my loved ones needs. And, although I have no tried it myself, I have heard good things about the food from relatives.

Toured this facility and although it was very nice and homey the pricing is a little over the budget. My father-in-law professed he did not want to share a room with anyone and a private room is way too much.

It's a older building without a van for trips, but the idea of an enclosed building is a great idea and it might work for my parents.

It wasn't the right place for him.... he needed more care. I do think they did not really represent themselves truly during initial days. I would never feel confident placing a loved in this facility in the future. Residents were allowed to wonder unsupervised. If a resident fell outside there is no staff nearby nor does anyone know they are outside.

The door to our back courtyard is equipped with an alarm system that is triggered when the door is opened by anyone other than staff with the appropriate keys. I liked the friendly ness of the administrators but there really isn't a lot of activity to the program that is located in the basement....nor over site of the people wondering the corridors. Residents can go alone outside in the fenced and locked area. But no one checks on them. There was a resident lady who was sitting on the ground weeding. I wouldn't recommend the community to others. I found the furniture was filthy. The management told me that corporate would be delivering new furniture and this never came be. There was a time I found my loved one on the floor after they had fallen. The staff didn't try to assist my loved one up after a fall. The community didn't tell the family about their procedures when this happened. I found it strange that the community doesn't help the residents up. When you tour assisted livings, they all say the same things about valuing each resident and preserving their dignity. The nicest thing about Victoria Court is what they say on their tours is actually what they do.

The very first night she was put here my mom fell and broke her hip and had to go to the ER and never went back to Pacifica Senior Living. They promised me they would give me the money back and I never got anything. I reached out several times and then all of a sudden communication was cut off from me. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them to others looking for loved ones who have dementia.
