The dining experience at Vida is unsurpassed in Indianapolis. The food is fresh and creative. The salad comes from the wall of greens right there in the restaurant, and it tastes oh so fresh....Our party of six had several different entrees and we loved all of them. Definitely a go-to place, even if its price point is on the "high" side.
Great restaurant for those who want an innovative meal. Fresh ingredients start with the wall of lettuce. We went for the $65 prix fixe menu and every option looked great. The flavors of each dish blended beautifully. The manager paired a South African Chenin Blanc that was a great choice and the wine mark-up is reasonable. I am a diabetic and the server worked with the kitchen to find a desert that worked.
Amazing experience for Mother's Day. We went for the Mother's Day brunch and had an amazing time. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was right on time with making our dining experience a memorable one. I had the short ribs on brioche and my sister had the wild mushroom omelette with goat cheese. The plating was fabulous and the taste was undeniably soothing, delicate, and delicious. I had first gone to Vida for Mother's Day in 2016 and with my return for 2017 this will now become a tradition.
Wow, first time at Vida for their Mother's Day Sunday brunch. I had Eggs Benedict with soft-shell crab and my wife had an omelet with wild mushrooms (morels) and goat cheese. Both were delicious. Absolutely wonderful restaurant on site of historic building. Creative tasting menu, top tier service, booked a table for my daughter's graduation, could not have been better.
We really enjoyed our night out. The food was great, the service was great, and the ambiance was nice and relaxing. We are at the bar and had a drink on the patio afterward. Would highly recommend.
Overall, we're fans of Vida, but the dishes can be pretentious and the prices high. Their special Mothers' Day menu was neither. Chef started us out with a generous amuse-bouche and we ordered the pastry plate to share, which was delicious. The brunch biscuits and gravy, and the Benedict were interesting twists on old favorites. The Bloody Marys topped it off, and three of us experienced a wonderful meal for under $100.
We went for Mother's Day brunch. Seating with a reservation was very prompt and the food was delicious. You can't eat outdoors but the outdoor area was perfect for sitting and enjoying the gorgeous weather. We will go back soon for dinner. Very happy with it!
