This is the best dining experience I have had in Indianapolis. The value for the quality of food is second to none. My wife and I shared eight courses between us. Everyone of them was fabulous. I cannot wait to go back.
I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars, but Vida definitely deserves it! I've eaten here for business meals in the past and was always pleased with the service and food. Took my husband for our anniversary and he absolutely loved it. Quite casual, yet upscale environment. Food is fresh, creative and well done. The duck is the best I've had. The surrounding area doesn't feel like downtown and parking is easy with the option for valet. Will return again and again - Vida is without question, our favorite Indy restaurant!
My husband and I wanted to try something new for our anniversary and selected Vida for our dinner. What a wonderful choice! Our waiter Shane was very helpful and informative as to the menu selections. The food is expertly and freshly prepared, I had the scallops which were perfectly grilled. Where to start? This was our first visit to Vida and it was amazing! We both had the 4 course dinner. Steak tartare was one of the best I have eaten. Foie Graf was to die for! My husband does not care for liver and loved this dish. He ordered the duck and I the wagyu steak. Both were tender and delicious! Chocolate bombe and ricotta doughnuts were a fitting finish for a great dinner. Service was superb! Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful evening!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Indy. I have been there previously for a special birthday dinner, and had looked forward to coming again. This time I brought a friend from Minneapolis, who travel extensively both in the U.S. and overseas, and eats out on business at top restaurants. Wow. Fresh, clean and flavorful. Excellent meal tonight. I will be back when I am in town. Much better for me than an old school steak house. Duck was so good.
Nice place, great service. The drinks were creative and quite tasty. Mine had gin, ginger beer and beet juice or some crazy stuff and it was delicious. My wife had the house Manhattan, no complaints. The atmosphere was nice, an open room with lots of windows and yet we could talk at normal level and not feel intruded upon. I had the foie gras (meh) and the duck (oh hell yeah!) and my wife had scallops which she loved. Fun doughnuts for desert. Not cheap but we’d do it again.
Vida is so consistent and the food is always unique and fabulous! AND...we can hear ourselves talk!
