Vida represents the Cunningham Group's best effort to date. The cuisine is creative and there are excellent choices on the menu whether you choose the tasting menu or prefer a la carte. The sommeliers and the wine pairings are top notch. The wine program has become a stand out. The restaurant is truly a gem on the Indy food scene.
Excellent as usual. Friends joined us at the last minute, and vida was able to accommodate us. One friend is notorious for saying that she will eat any type of food; but, she is a midwesterner born and raised. She enjoyed even the foods that seemed odd to her. I have never had a bad experience T VidA.
Vida provides a wonderful dining experience; the food is excellent, as is the service. The wait staff is extremely attentive, our water glasses were never less than half full. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and creative pairings. From the bread basket to the dessert, each course provided a wow factor. Give Vida a try; it's worth every penny and you'll likely plan a return visit before you've finished your meal.
We went to Vida for our anniversary and it was excellent! Our waiter was attentive to our needs, and everything was delicious.
It was very cold in the restaurant, with air blowing right in us. Other than that, the food was excellent. Service could be a little quicker.
I'd been wanting to try Vida, and the coincidence of Devour Indy at the same time as my birthday, was a good time to try it. The food was fantastic....delicious, creative, fresh, and lovely to look at. The portion for one appetizer was too tiny; for example, two small oysters were presented as a course, when they were more like a bite, too little to even share. My friend and I have celebrated our birthdays at VIDA the past three years. Each time the menu is different, and each time the food is fantastic. On this visit, we did the four-course option and added a lobster appetizer. They also did a special wine pairing for us, and it was wonderful. The server said the recommendation for our first course, foie gras (outstanding!!!) was a sweet wine. We've been here twice now and every time we have an amazing experience. This is our go to special occasion restaurant. Such thoughtful, creative, and tasty dishes. Service is also excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable wait staff.
