We went to Vida for our 5 year anniversary- they gave us champagne which was a lovely surprise! We got the four-course menu- the food was delicious but it was a real struggle to eat that much.
This place was very nice! We went here for my birthday dinner. We did the six course tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was excellent, the service terrific and the wine pairings were fun and exciting. We will return for either the tasting menu or just ordering off the menu! Would highly recommend!
Good varied menu and wine list. The kitchen needs to work a bit more in producing better flavored dishes.
We had heard that Vida was an outstanding restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Great wine selection, great service, great ambience and most importantly GREAT CUISINE and DESSERTS!!! We will definitely recommend Vida and we look forward to returning.
We enjoyed Vida, the food is 'foodie friendly' but the less adventurous diner could find a delicious option on the menu. What we really liked was the low noise level of the restaurant. Even with high ceilings, it was great to converse normally at dinner. No loud music, no dishes clattering, etc. It is a beautiful restaurant, well designed and well decorated. The service was excellent and the food quite delicious!
Truly a gem in Indy, will go back soon. Definitely raised the bar for others in town.
Visa is probably the swankiest restaurant in Indianapolis. Creative, sometimes excellent cuisine, extensive first-rate wine list and sommelier to go with it, high-ceiling open dining room. A place to be seen and to enjoy. Then why are there enigmas? No dress code for the wait staff, some of whom were slovenly. Deceptive fried morel dish done with reconstituted batter-soaked mushrooms. There is NOTHING that isn't spectacular about Vida. From the greeting when you walk in to the service and through the entire menu, it is all phenomenal. The flavors on the menu blend together to create a heavenly culinary experience and the ricotta doughnuts are so light it's as if you are tasting a bourbon maple glazed cloud.
Delicious and beautiful food. Wait staff always so helpful and friendly.
