Each of the four of us enjoyed the $65 special menu where we got to choose from each category. Everything was delicious and just the right amount. No one was overly stuff and everyone enjoyed the variety of foods that we might not otherwise have ordered.
Best meal I've ever had. Portions are typically small but meals here are meant to be enjoyed with many courses! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.
The food and décor was very good. Expensive but certainly not every day fare. the only negative was the wait staff made one feel a bit hurried and was a bit terse. Spending over $200.00 for the two of us warranted a little more personality/attentiveness from the waiter. But overall I would very much recommend. I will go back.
By far the best food in Indianapolis I've had so far in terms of taste and presentation.
We loved our experience at Vida. Professional, friendly server gave us good recommendations which were spot on. The food was creative and immensely flavorful. Smaller portions, but artfully presented and outstanding in preparation and ingredients. Great cocktails. Amazing ricotta donut dessert. Would return, if only for those!
The person who took my reservation asked if we would be celebrating a special occasion, and I admitted it would be my spouse's birthday. (She hates a fuss.) The waiter greeted us by saying, "happy birthday" to her quietly, and placed complimentary sparkling wine on the table. Her dessert said "happy birthday" on the side. That was it. Great experience! Impressed from start to finish on service. Steak was so perfectly cooked, just would have loved a few more Brussel sprouts/veg with the entrée. Not even a donut fan, but those ricotta donuts were so fluffy and tender.
Initially reading the menu we were underwhelmed, when the food arrived the food was amazing! We had the chicken and parpadelle. Delicious! Foie Gras was delightful! Oh and the Chocolate tarter with spearmint ice cream was to die for! The wine list was out of this world. The service was great, the server was very knowledgeable and very sweet. We are looking forward to the next time.
Excellent dinner and service. We had 3 tasting menus and portions were great. Only drawback was when I asked Sommelier about 3 specific wines I got the impression he wanted to steer me to the $230 and $700 bottle..he should have just answered my question. Other than that it was a wonderful dining experience.
