4 of us tried Vida for the first time during Devour Indy. It was excellent. We plan to return soon. One of our party is a picky eater, but even she loved everything she received. We dine in downtown Indy every month or two and only at spots that take reservations as we live 40 miles away. This was worth the drive. All the dishes were wonderful with subtle flavorings. A great evening. We took advantage of the Devour Indy pricing but will go back even without that advantage. I had the filet which was perfect. Don't miss the garlic soup!
The service was impeccable and probably the best part about our experience. The food was delicious and all cooked perfectly. It was definitely a dinner experience instead of just a meal. It was likely very busy during the week due to Devour Indy, so it was a little noisy. Parking was a beast.
It was a birthday celebration for 3 of the 4 in our party. Although we had a reservation, we were seated in a rather noisy lounge area. My husband ordered the French Tart as his entree. It was a dry, tough tart topped with 3 or 4 glazed onion strings and a small scrap of an unrecognizable dried up vegetable. We enjoyed our evening with our guests, but the ambience as well as the food quality definitely was not what we had anticipated.
Delicious from start to finish! I had the devour 3 course. Tuna, Bass, Donuts....everything was exceptional! Just go!
Loved this experience so much! The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I will definitely be back :)
Food was fantastic. Service was great. My only complaint was serving size. My wife and I complain that serving sizes are ridiculously larger. Vida definitely goes to far the other way. Dinner was sea bass that was 1.5 inches by 3 inches long. About 4 bites. I was still hungry after a $75 meal.
Vida never disappoints. The Devour Indy menu was creative and delicious. I have nothing but accolades for the restaurant. Pricey even for Devour Indy but still worth it!
