This was my second visit to Vida, my first in the dining room. The place is stunningly beautiful, and I love the wall "garden." The food was superb, and elegantly plated. I appreciate the concept of the amuse bouche, and the roasted beet with a fruit and pecan jam inspired a similar dish I made at home. Excellent food and service. Menu always changes so there is always something new to try.
Vida is rapidly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Indianapolis. We have followed Chef Layton from Meridian to Mesh to Vida, and each step of the way has been an impressive advance for a great young chef. The staff is great, and the wine list is compact, but high quality.
My fiancée's newest favorite restaurant of anywhere including Chicago and St. Louis. Her filet mignon was properly rare, not raw and not medium rare.
This was our first time at Vida and we really enjoyed it. We love the Cunningham group restaurants and this is our new favorite. The service was amazing! Our food was spot on. Will definitely be back

Good to try once but would probably not go back. The food was very good but exotic for my personal taste. Nice atmosphere though.
Birthday dinner for my son
The server explained the essence of Vida is to source things locally and fresh so the menu changes every few months. One look at the menu and is see halibut, salmon, sturgeon, lobster, etc, all sourced from the local grocery store. The amuse bouche was a watermelon salsa on a cracker. The cracker was the type you can buy from the local grocery store. I had the lobster chowder which arrived at the table with a skin starting to form on top.
