The residents get good care. There is always someone around to help. It's clean and well run. That's what we want for our loved ones. If one can afford the cost, it seems like one of the best places around.

Villa Capri is a very nice facility. We feel that my loved one is receiving good care there. They have not been good at helping us navigate his emotional response to being there, such as how to answer his questions about why he is there and when can he go home. That said, it's a beautiful, clean facility. The cost is very very high and not easy for my family, but we want him to have good care. I just wish there was more support for the families.
The tour at Villa Capri was a wonderful and helpfull .experience. We covered all of the public areas on both the first and second floors. The lunch on the patio was outstanding and delicious. The apartments that we saw were spacious and had excellent views of the surrounding area. The staff could not have been more accommodating and informative. We came away with a very positive feeling but not yet ready for the transition at this point in time.

Jury still out on change of ownership. I understand transition takes time. Most personnel from previous ownership, from managers to care givers have left or were let go. Many of the resident concerns are being listed to re; laundry, food quality and food variety, activities, HOWEVER very little action seems to be taking place.
Do your research before having your loved one live at Villa Capri at Varenna. Owned by [removed] and recently Well Quest took over the management of this facility. It's obvious that [name removed] hired Well Quest to cut costs and operate Villa Capri as a budget community, however the costs for residents are high and will increase. It's very pricey but if you can afford it then I would recommend it, unless your loved one is a foodie. Complaints about the food from day one. Best suited mom, more like a resort. Loved the staff. Friendly and caring. Beautiful environment.
What we really like about Oakmont of Villa Capri is the friendliness of the staff members - that is number 1 on our list. It was always really nice to see the caregivers smile and always staying busy and helping out with the residents. There are a lot of different activities for the residents to participate in which is great. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend Oakmont of Villa Capri to other families.
Villa Capri is a fairly new facility which looks clean and maintained. The staff for the most part is friendly, however they are not well trained. The food is often inedible and feedback by the residents about the food is ignored. The "assistance" at this facility is minimal. I would NOT recommend Villa Capri to anyone looking for a properly managed and well run facility.
Still under construction but should be very nice when completed this Spring.
