Incredible meal in a serenely unique environment. Sadly, the place doesn't take reservations on Saturday night. It was worth the wait. We sat outside while listening to live music. It is nice to have live music and still be able to have great conversation without having to yell. Food and wine were exceptional. We started with a special flat bread;arugula, plum tomatoes, blue cheese...delicious. I had the ribeye filet. Amazing. I devoured it. The sides accompanying were very complimentary. Service was great. A little less att... read more
Such a nice little place. Great wine selection and a really cool atmosphere. Only had wine but looked like the food was good too!
It rained earlier -- actually poured -- so we were unable to dine outside as planned. Darn! But no matter. Had a lovely b'day dinner for my husband, with friends. Too many of us ordered pork chops and the kitchen ran out, so I switched to scallops. Everything was delish, including Jack's grilled rib eye filet, butterflied. (The pork chop eaters particularly enjoyed their accompanying block of mac-n'-cheese.) We all started with salad -- loved the wedge w/blue cheese -- and for dessert, a multi-person person tasting tra... read more
The three stars is for the service, but the chef deserved 5 stars. My advice to him, move on. Food was fantastic, management from not getting a call back from a reservation request, to questionable service ( the waiter asked if it was ok that he didn't provide new cutlery when we changed small plates and provided two tablespoons of a $10 glass of wine) was very poor.
I tend to be descriptive in my experiences with restaurants, and I want to start off saying thank you for reading everything I write to people out there. I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant, and when I give a 5 star, it is indicating that it is probably the best of its kind around Atlanta in my opinion. I give this restaurant a 5 star review. The ambiance is great and the interior design is intimate. There inside and outside sitting, and the Friday evening I went, there was a live music outside with bass, guitar, and etc... read more
The pimiento cheese fritters, pork chop, chocolate pot dessert and cocktails are all phenomenal. The service was fantastic on a Tuesday night.
Great food and service. These people really care about the food and wine that they serve. We had the fish special (grilled swordfish) and the sirloin steak. Both were cooked to perfection and presentation was awesome. You must try the dessert sampler to finish off a great outdoor dining experience!!! Highly recommended for a great date night dinner.
Love Vin 25, my favorite date night place with the hubby. It has a romantic feel to it, great wines, no pressure to hurry and the food is great. We had the flat bread pizza this time which was so good, I could have eaten one on my own, but alas, I was partly full of the yummy arugula salad with mushrooms. I tend to love reds from California, coming from the west coast and having enjoyed several when traveling around the Napa/Sonoma wineries. Never a shortage of great wines to select at Vin 25. The service is always good, ... read more
Their customer service is awful with a hint of racism! Food is overpriced and not worth the low quality.
