There is not enough room to convey all of the positive thoughts and feelings that our family has regarding the care and concern that out parents received at Vista Veranda. Their kindness and willingness to help is unapparelled. They are treated our parents like they were their own family.
Very nice place, friendly staff. No place is perfect but overall we are satisfied.
I've been appreciative of the care, activities they provide for the residents as well as the planned monthly family events. The consistency of a major part of the staff lets me know it's being managed well.
I would recommend Vista Veranda to others. The food is of good quality. The staff is responsive to the family. The housekeeping is okay. The move in process was on our own. However, when my Aunt moved from the assisted living unit to the memory care unit, the staff moved all of the furniture.
All questions are 5. If higher ratings were available I surely would give them to all the staff. They know the family, all come up to the family. Regardless which department. They talk about my mother and know her. Nurses the best, see them almost every visit and talk about my mom's wellbeing. Again this goes for all assistants. Kitchen and housekeeping. Again the best. Also entertainment staff. Vista is the home I have never experienced. This is a very nice home for my mom.

My mother's major complaint is the quality, quantity of the food. Too many repeat meals. She also wants more activities.

My Dad lived at VV Memory Care for almost 2 years. In that time, I would see the same staff working with him - which is so important for dementia residents. The food is tasty. The activities are enjoyable and encourage socializing. The nurses kept me informed of any health issues. They felt more like a second family taking better care of him that I could.
