They did their best to provide dignity and good care and support to the family and residents. They made us feel welcomed at this community. My loved one was not able to participate in activities but there was always something happening.

We have just helped our mother ( my mother-in-law) make the transition from independent living in another facility to assisted at Vista Veranda. A medical crisis (which has since been resolved) just prior to the move made the last month very stressful- the staff at Vista Veranda have put their arms around. Betty and our family and welcomed us gently into this community. We are so grateful and so far are impressed by the staff and caring atmosphere.

Vista Veranda gave our loved one much care (professional). Our loved one felt she was in good hands. She would often say to me she got the care. They take good care of me. "Everyone was so friendly" What surprised us in how everyone knew her name.

The marketing woman you deal with in the beginning was amazing and phenomenal, she is so sweet and thorough. She went above and beyond in trying to make the transition as easy as possible. Everything started out fine, within a few weeks they wanted us to bring in extra therapists to help out. They were encountering anger issues and added some more medications to help calm her. Together with our families and staff, we work for the dignity and safety of our residents. We respect our role as advocates for our residents which sometimes includes transitioning that person to a different type of care. Finding the right fit can be challenging. We work through the entire process. We go to places for families; interview incoming residents, sometimes numerous times in hopes of gaining enough insight that everyone is comfortable moving forward. We continue to be here as a resource for you and your family.
The community is very neat and clean and the staff is all very nice and helpful. Communication between the staff and the family were very good and informative. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
