Came to WA Frost for a birthday dinner. We brought our own cake and wine and the waiter was happy to comply. Food was delicious with the exception of the charcuterie which could use a little work (disappointing selection and small). Restaurant was busy but quiet and our group of 4 could easily hold a conversation without needing to strain to hear each other. Waiter was appropriately attentive. The decor is very romantic. We moved to the outdoor patio after dinner and this too was very relaxing and pleasant. One of the best p... read more

We had dinner with some friends at WA Frost last Saturday night. My friend and I both ordered the pan roasted wild acres half chicken dish with smoked couscous and grilled asparagus, peas and chicken jus. It was the best! We wanted to pick up the bones and gnaw off every last delicious morsel! I highly recommend this dish. Our husbands ordered the pan roasted salmon dish and found it to be equally delicious. We ordered the kit kat desert to round off the evening. It was rich, decadent, and worth every calorie!

We had a perfect evening of dining here. Good food, good service, lovely setting. And the weather was perfect for outdoor dining, which helped of course.

Long time friends dined under the umbrellas on WA Frost's patio for lunch. Our server, Jen was very attentive and the smoked chicken salad was wonderful. It's such a wonderful atmosphere on the patio!

Disappointed that when I arrived I was told that any online reservation is seated inside rather in the beautiful garden.

It was my first time there...my wife had been there 20 years ago....we went for the ambience and were very pleased. Wished we could've sat on the patio but the MN weather didn't allow that to happen. Our server, Michael, did a great job and offered excellent choices. We chose the Chef's Special, the Meat and Vegetarian option, and were delighted with the choices. And.....even though the portions seemed small by appearance we were pleasantly full when the meal was done. Our dining experience lasted over 2 hours and we will de... read more

Wonderful patio, but couldn't make a reservation on-line. Odd menu. Strawberry salad was outstanding; beef skewers not so good!

Everyone knows that Frost's patio is the best in the Twin Cities. Food, too, is marvelous and well served; it's a pleasure to have waitstaff who know the menu as well as Frost's do. Only one question: WHY does WA Frost (at least 3 waitstaff on 3 recent occasions, and 1 phone respondent) continue to defend serving by-the-glass Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and other whites in *bowl-shaped* glasses fit for a rich Burgundy?
