The menu choices are limited. I didn't see anything I wanted to order. My husband had the salmon. It was very expensive but cooked to perfection. It was a little larger than a pack of cards and didn't come with any sides. No soup. No salad. No rice pilloff. No vegetable medley. I had the best spinach salad I ever had in my life, but in the grand scheme of things, it was just a salad. An expensive salad. My son had the Bean Wrap - he's a vegetarian and there were a lot of choices for him. My daughter in law had the pulled por... read more

Paul served our table with a care for our sensibilities that is the true definition of what it means to serve. Paul used his considerable knowledge of food and cocktails in a beautifully deferential manner to provide us with a fabulous experience. The patio was closed due to inclement weather (imagine that), so the staff lit the fire ring on the patio for us and we sipped cocktails under the stars. My last visit to WA Frost was 4 years ago and the food was mediocre. Our meal last night was elegant and edgy, and delicious. Th... read more

We have always enjoyed going to W.A. Frost, we have been there in nice weather and have enjoyed being outside. We enjoyed our dinner this time also, except for the service of our waitress. She was slow to initially get to our table, she was not friendly, and she spilled wine on us. Normally we are generous tippers, this night we did not give anything extra. The food was very good. Nice light and tasty vinagarette on their dinner salad, good soup, a wonderful piece of wild Salmon, and a nice chocolate mousse and pistacchio ic... read more

My wife and I ate here for our Easter brunch. It was a great choice and using the Open Table app was easy and quick. She had the Eggs Benedict and I had the pork hash-both very good. Great building with several dining rooms decorated for romance or family occassions. The patio looked inviting, we'll try it next time. Good service, nice portions, good food and decent prices for the fancy setting. I recommend it for that "special time out".

We decided at the last minute to come in for Easter Brunch. Although most of the tables were filled the service was very attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. It has been a while since I have been there and was reminded what a great little neighborhood spot this is. It is cozy in the winter and awesome in the summer on the patio. I'll be back soon.

W.A. Frost never fails to be a wonderful dining experience. The wine list includes wines from $24 to Chateau LaFitte Rothschild. The menu is relatively small, but is prepared with style and wonderful combinations. A good selection of sharing plates, and an appetizer with a mini-entree is a satisfying meal. Reservations are essential, especially on a weekend night. One of the best outdoor dining venues in the Twin Cities.

I invited a co-worker to lunch with me. It was her first time in the dining room at W.A. Frost. She loved it. The food was great and our server was wonderful. It wasn't too expensive which means I'll be coming back again soon for lunch and dinner.
