Retirement celebration—the patio was perfect!
I felt very safe. That was good. But paper plates and plastic glasses lack the same feel as regular dining. And I missed the waiter interaction. I appreciate all your efforts. Hoping for a vaccine and a return to real dining in the new year.
First pandemic patio experience, and as ever, they did everything right: waitstaff in masks and gloves; touch less ordering . Best g&t, with that sprig of rosemary— takes away some of the sting.
Gorgeous patio but the food isn’t up to the task. Go if you want a lovely outdoor setting—not if you’re looking for great food or good value.
Always a lovely experience, even with the difficult circumstances.
While the food was very good, we ordered an appetizer cheese plate which we never received. The wait staff was unable to remove from our order. He gave me the manager's email to try to get reimbursed and it was incorrect.
The food was decent, although not on par with pre-covid-19 shutdown. I can understand this. The cocktails my wife & I got were quite sub-par, a real disappointment given the cost. We ordered 2 different ones, and I'm pretty sure they were from the same pre-mixed mixer, and lacking some of the special ingredients called for in the drink description. They tasted the same. (Bees Knees & French 75, which have clear differences.) The patio, as usual, was lovely.
The food was tasty, the setting is beautiful. The app for ordering food is clunky. Ordering things at an enjoyable pace means paying every time you ask for something. Ther paying part of the app required multiple attempts every time but never missed the 20% surcharge that came after the $5/ person reservation fee. The QR code worked on an Apple phone, but not Android. Not even thinking about going back until they are allowed full seating.
Very relaxing, conscious of necessary health precautions. It felt safe, and the patio is an oasis.
