As always, the food was outstanding, and their beautiful outdoor patio was in full bloom. Of special note is that they had a very conscientious plan for social distancing. Tables were placed far apart, we used a QR code to pull up their menu and order, they came to our table with masks only to bring water, bring our drink order, and bring our dinner and dessert orders .. no extra checking in that would have meant more social interaction. First the $5 person reservation fee is your ticket to sit on their beautiful patio. I am ok with it but this is the first I have come across such a thing. Second is you have to close out your bill after every order. Beverages, close your bill, food, close your bill, dessert close your bill. It's really a pain to stop and reenter your payment info evertime, and I even used Pay Pal. It would be nice to keep ticket open and close it in one transaction at the end. The patio at WA Frost is also a nice experience. I felt very comfortable with the level of social distancing and care the staff put into our service. I didn't anticipate using plastic utensils but understand the need to limit handling of these items. The new app ordering system was easy to use.
Disappointing in many ways. High surcharge and tips included for slow service and small portions. I know you just reopened but drinking out of plastic cups and spending $150. For a so so dinner not worthwhile.
Understanding our current covid situation and precautions necessary (masks needed) upon arrival to your outdoor patio and being prepared, our party was not greeted from the hostess in a happy way. Instead we were greater in a cold way, no happy as in the past.
It took a while to figure out the ordering procedure but after that everything was great. Nice to be back on the beautiful patio!
The new QR code for the patio had just begun and it was a bit troublesome for us. It took up quite a bit of our time fumbling with it and then our Chicken Caprese didn't have chicken on it, it also took a while for it to arrive- even though our extra plate had arrived instantly. If this is the NEW NORM -- of dining at WA Frost, I probably won't be going back anytime soon. For the value of my DOLLAR I will have a better dining experience at HOME!
We were treated wonderfully! Not too much, but there when appropriate. Wonderful food, too. Always have had great experiences there.
