As always, a wonderful lunch spot -especially when the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Great service, food and location! (You do need to call to move your OpenTable reservation to the patio.)
The atmosphere alone makes it worth it! It just happened to be the case that the food was amazing too!:)
Really enjoyed sitting out on the neck patio enjoying good wine and food. Lots of fun choices for a cheese plate.
Get the crispy pork belly appetizer. Unexpected touch of spicy. Outstanding.
The look and feel of the room is tremendous. A lot of charm and classy deep rich woods and details. Food overall was pretty good, a little bit safe and did not have any facet that made me think "This is something really special here." Service was disappointing for this level of restaurant. Four friends met to celebrate a birthday on a pleasant August day. Because of the beautiful weather, everyone chose to eat outside on the patio for lunch. This is a lovely place to dine, with trees providing shade. No mosquitoes, only a buzzing bee. Service was excellent. Each of us ordered something different and we all were happy with our choices. This was our second trip to WA Frost. Both experiences were great. The service and timing of the meal were perfect. No rush but never a wait. Our meals were very good and the presentation was wonderful.
Don't tell anyone, because I want to be able to get a patio reservation the next time I visit. Yes, you read that correctly, a patio reservation is possible if you call directly. Best to make a reservation through Open Table, then call to ask for a shift to the patio (they will do it if they have room). About half the large, comfortable patio is available for reservations. The rest is open seating. I don't know any other local restaurants that will take a patio reservation. And the service and food are excellent, too.
