We had a great table , near the fireplace; plenty of room for the 6 of us. Found some good wines on the list. Appreciated the micro entree choices. Excellent salad. Food was "gourmet level", beautiful presentation. Of course, in the summer, this place is THE BEST patio. But loved the menu for fall/indoors.
We came here for our anniversary because I wanted a romantic place. I love the setting but I should have checked the menu before booking. We spent over $100 and left hungry. It was well prepared but small portions and everything ala carte. Next time I would just settle for a drink at the bar and an appetizer. We stopped at White Castle on the way home because we were still hungry.
The delectable food and our wonderful server added to the charm of this beautiful and historic building with many different rooms that added warmth and coziness to our dining experience. The fish soup and pear salad were a great paring for my lunch, and I loved the choices of small desserts for a lovely finish to my meal.
Both the hostess and waiter congratulated us on our anniversary which started the evening off nicely. Pork belly appetizer was delicious! My husband's cassoulet was savory and very good. My lamb shank was dry and hard, but the date compote helped. Lovely place with great ambiance!
We enjoyed Frost, however, my personal feeling is that it has become too expensive for the quality of food. $32 for scallops and tiny bits of sweetbreads scattered among them was a bit much. It is not haute cuisine.
The service was excellent. However, the pork chop for one of our guests was very undercooked. Upon notifying our server, he returned the plate to the kitchen to fix the problem.
Food was great, dining room cozy, service very attentive. Did not realize one could request a table by the fireplace - next time.
My boyfriend and I had dinner here in celebration of my birthday. We had a great experience. The food was great, the service was great, nice relaxing music and not too loud. Overall, we had a great time.
We were delighted to dine at WA Frost again...it had been many years since our last visit. We were able to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with great wine pairings. Thank you for a memorable evening!
