I had a breast augmentation with dr. Hankins about 4 years ago. He put the allergan textured implants in over the muscle. They always looked weird when I lay down, falling to my armpits. They look very strange and I’ve been very unhappy. I then found out that the allergan implants had been recalled for a year causing alcl and no one contacted me. First, a funny story: Last night, I had a dream that while my surgeon was removing my right implant, it ruptured and all the saline went into my body. He started pushing on my body to get the saline out and it started going up into my head and out of my ears. "Stop! I'm drowning!" I said. I shared my dream with Dr. Hankins. I forgot the valium they had prescribed for me but I didn't need it. Here is my pic, post shower from this morning. I'm very happy with the way they look, and the crazy thing is that I'm wearing the sports bra that I wore post augmentation! I'm so happy to be able to fit into tops that I thought I would have to get rid of because my chest was too big!
After breastfeeding four children, I was very self conscious about the size of my breasts, so in May 2003, I had implants placed under the muscle.
