Came to celebrate our anniversary!! Went later in the evening, sat in the 2 person booth with the wall lamp. Great service, Fatima was our waitress, she was very attentive! Delicious food, great drinks, dessert was a nice finish. Nice atmosphere, very cozy and not super crowded. Definitely will be back!
We went to Walloons for our anniversary dinner. The reservation process was easy, we were seated quickly and service was great. As not a big seafood person, I got the steak salad. Perfectly medium rare and fresh salad ingredients. My husband enjoyed his red fish plate and all the cocktails we tried were perfect. The space is cute and upscale. We couldn't ask for anything more.
10/10 everything! Customer service is always on point. I love how no matter what server I have their recommendations are always delicious. Tonight I tried an espresso martini with peppered butterscotch whiskey and now I don't want it any other way
Great service! Cheers for our waitstaff. Menu was limited, redfish was dry with no flavor. Specialty Old Fashion excellent. Lobster Mac and cheese was a very small portion with limited amount of lobster.
Godfather era looking cafe.-"good thing". Best spot is seating next to windows. Good margaritas. Steak frites with steak sauce a great option. Server was not attentive. May not have been his day. I recommend trying.
To be absolutely fair about the 3 stars, this is a seafood place and I do not eat seafood. My husband does and said the crab cake was amazing and the gumbo - although seafood-less - was also good and spicy. I had the steak frites which was just ok. The seasoning on the steak was really good but I asked for medium and got medium well to well done. The fries were also well seasoned and crispy. I mainly ate those! We also ordered church lady deviled eggs which were heavily mustard flavored. Not my favorite deviled eggs ingredie... read more
Fatima was a great server. Parking in the garage next to the establishment, and the restaurant does validate. The atmosphere was nice, it didn't feel crowded, or the feeling of tables being so close together. Ordered the Deviled Eggs to start, which were good and came with a small salad and pickled onions. 6 to an order. My girlfriend ordered the Beer Batter Red Fish Beignet as an Entree. It was light and smooth. She did like it . I ordered the Monday Special Fish and Chips. Nice presentation with a cup of Fries. I wi... read more
We had a fantastic lunch! Walloons has been one of our "yeah we should try it someday" places for a while now and I'm so glad we finally came. The service was great: our server took care of us but wasn't overbearing. Our server recommended the Tuesday redfish taco special and she's right: it was delicious. The fish was flaky and tasty, fresh, and really hit the spot. A couple of drinks and it was time for dessert. They're rolling out their Christmas menu so we were able to try the apple cobbler with vanilla cinnamon ice c... read more
