love love love!! everything was fresh and amazing! our bartender was so personable and made us feel right at home! so thankful we stumbled upon this little gem.
This is a lovely restaurant with fine food and indeed one of the best martinis I've ever had. That being said, I prefer food that is more healthy with your sauces and not so rich. The food was just too much for me.
The vib is great the food is great..might want to make reservations...a hotspot! Little $$$ but very fresh and safe seafood!
When you walk into the restaurant the vibe is classy and sophisticated. Hostess was prompt and accommodating. We ordered extra dirty martinis that were nice and cold. We waited a while before our waitress arrived. She spoke softly and we had to ask her to repeat herself. We ended up ordering the calamari salad and the steak on special. The calamari salad was bad to say the least. The calamari itself was over cooked and dry. The salad part appeared to be thick sliced cabbage with a sour lemon dressing, not like it had been de... read more
Really probably a 3.5, but that is not an option. The really good: Location is gorgeous, they validate parking in an adjacent garage, they have decent Tequila. Hubs gave the Italian Beef and the Calamari Salad high marks. The raw oysters were fresh, cold and come with a really solid setup and presentation. The ok: Food is solid, but nothing special. Devil Eggs, good, just plain ole deviled eggs. The Redfish was good, but overpowered by a red sauce. Included mussels and a couple of large shrimp which were better than... read more
Jaw dropped as I entered Walloon's cozy and elegant modern bistro scene. Wonderful was their lunch service. Hoping and was not disappointed in their sophisticated yet familiar seafood courses. Relishing still to be the guest of their beautifully delicate tasting bouillabaisse with perfectly prepared seafood of redfish, shrimp, and, mussels, "Seared Redfish"! CHEERS!
Love love love this seafood restaurant! The food and service is excellent. I've only been for lunch twice, I'm sure it's pretty busy at dinner so make reservations if you can! The lobster roll competes with that of the east coast!
Went for Mother's Day! Loved the place. Old school and upscale interior. Really great food and a good selection. Definitely recommend.
Service was good, food was average! I was hoping this would be something to write home about but nothing we ordered wow-ed us. (Fish beignets, steak frites, seared redfish). The redfish sauce was watery and lacked flavor. The fries were good, but the steak was nothing special. Probably would try something else for the price! Cute restaurant though!
