omg I never seen anything like this, what ashame these people should be. kicked my family out for doing exactly what they wanted, getting out of water when thunder came. well the little girls working there stalked my husband and six mtg old all the way to our camp. power tipping. what unprofessional staff. economy sucks I get it but this is unexceptionable. employees was dead wrong and there Willing to let there name rot. been going here since 1995 and never an issue. multicultural families beware. kkk stomping grounds.
I do not recommend this location. We visited last weekend. The campground issued a boil water advisory but provided no details of what was going on or assistance on where to use the restroom or bathe. I even emailed them asking what to do and no one responded. Since then, all of my family members and myself fell ill with dysentery and my step son had emergency surgery because there was concern for his appendix. If you want privacy and a quiet commune with nature, forget this place. It’s a ghetto of loud country music coming from all directions, loud parties, random f-bombs from drunks wandering about late at night, a Karaoke bar with loud off key singing and partying late into the night, and generally rude neighbor behavior everywhere. Campsites are very narrow so you are right on top of your neighbors. We had the luck of being next to a guy trying to fix his Harley who kept revving the motor all evening. expensive campground for a cold pool. Every year there's an excuse for why the heater doesn't work. it's a long winter's drive to swim in a cold pool. Will never come here again!!
need a lot of updates, took a while to find a decent spot for our RV, first one was really muddy! liked the Tiki Hut but need better seats. laundromat needs a place to hang clothes, rolling basket with metal bar on top.
This was our 2nd time here. We had a terrible day. We got a noise complaint at 3pm... quiet time is 10 per park rules. We lowered it, called the office asking about this to get a better explanation/ clear up, and was told that if they were watching a football game they’d be bothered too, WHAT!!! So I have to have a bad time, not enjoy my self, my vacation bc some person cant stand normal noise at 3pm?! NO! Then at 7pm they come out saying our lights bother the neighbor, are you serious!!
