I am infuriated with 5 Star Urgent Care. The cut under my son's chin apparently - and, seemingly, quite obviously - called for stitches. Handling it with skin glue and tape was the incorrect treatment for what the doctors at Golisano called a "high tension area" of the body. Every one of them was struck by the choice of 5 Star Urgent Care to use glue. As a result, that cut likely opened back up almost immediately after bandaging it. Been there a few times. Never once received a correct diagnosis. Had to follow up in an actual hospital ER within 24 hours on more than one occasion because of how terribly wrong they were. Shouldn’t have to pay premium price (I have better insurance than most) for a poor diagnosis from someone who is not a real Dr. (in other words, on what I’ve just counted to be 8 total visits, between my myself, my wife and 4 kids, I have never seen anyone other than an NP or PA)it’s like buying a coke at a vending machine and receiving a... read more
