Get directionsMy parents moved into Wesley Glen in 2005 when Mom's dementia was getting more and more difficult for Dad to handle. While Mom passed on three years later Dad just celebrated his 90th birthday in the Ravine Room! WG is full of loving, caring people who are there out of choice not force. Their love of seniors shows every day in their smiles, their caring touch, in their hard work. No better senior living community in Central Ohio.
Overall your facility is a nice one and the employees are friendly and helpful. The furnishings and atmosphere in the 1st floor of the nursing facility need to be upgraded to the same level as the public areas of Wesley Glen. You definitely need to turn your attention to the staffing levels and increase them in extended care and assisted living. It should not be acceptable to have a resident, who is using their retirement money, wait for up to 30 minutes for someone to return to take her off the toilet. The staff is doing wh... read more
My father has been a resident of Wesley Glen for over a year now. He has been very happy with his care and with all of his needs being met. Everyone I have met with (social workers, therapists of all kinds, nurses and nurse practitioners, office personnel, maintenance staff, food workers, and this list can go on!) has been absolutely wonderful and caring. I appreciate all everyone at Wesley Glen has done to make my father's final years very dignified and happy. Thank you.
My 102 1/2 year old mother just left Wesley Glen Health CAre Center after 3 weeks. The experience there was truly awful. After a fall in which she broker her clavicle, she went to rehab. She came home from the rehab worse than when she went in. It was a truly negative experience for her. The nursing staff and aides were hostile, disrespectful and neglectful. They failed to answer her call button thus leaving her sitting in her own feces (one time for two hours.) There was a distinct lack of compassionate care and respect. Ma... read more

Wesley Glen Retirement Community is amazing, I have a brother there and he is doing great. But their rehab is a nightmare! First I want to say there are maybe 2 aides that have been good. I can't say that about the nurses especially the male nurse. My mother, age 102 and 2/3 years old, has been there for a couple of weeks now and if someone isn't there all the time she does not get the treatment she should. They are slow to respond to her call. They have tried to change her medication from every 4 hours to every 6 ho... read more
My mother recently entered Wesley Glen. She absolutely loves most everything about it! The facility is pristine despite how old it is. They take great pride in keeping it clean and fresh smelling. She for the first time ever in her last ng life does not have to change her own sheets. In fact they provide the sheets and towels so she never has to wash either ever again! The staff is amazingly wonderful from maintenance to front desk to marketing!! So.....all 5 star. EXCEPT one thing...the food!!! NOTHING is fresh except on Su... read more
I found the place depressing. Long institutional halls. Small cramped apartments. Doors and bathrooms in apartments too small for wheelchair accessibility. Seats in theater difficult to get in and out of. The place is showing it's age and needs renovation.
Provide adequate staff in Special Care. Spend less money on executives, improving "the look" of the building, and landscaping. Fix the elevator. If one of your offices were located where the elevator being out for months and months caused significant delays every time you tried to travel around the building, I bet you would have fixed it. Even the door to the women's restroom on the first floor next to your lobby has a difficult to turn knob and is very hard to push open. Not at all appropriate for elderly, frail residents.
Working here was honestly awful. Management couldn't do their jobs, coworkers were terrible. One employee sexually harassed multiple people and although she was reported, nobody did anything about it. You need to do better if you want to keep any employees
