If an option was zero stars, I'd give that. This facility and it's staff are incompetent at best. My father stayed at this facility for two weeks and was treated like an animal. Dirty and smells, and the staff are very superficial and will lie directly to your face. My father was knowingly a fall risk, and he ended up in the hospital 3x in 48 hours due to neglect. I had a family member admitted to recover from a minor surgery. Everyone who worked at this facility were never in sync with each other. I had to follow up every day to make sure my family member was given the care they needed. Physical Therapy was very minimum with no progress. My family member became worse during their stay. If the Hospital recommends this place, its because they are not aware what is going on here. I would not recommend anyone going to this place unless they do not want to come home.

If I could give zero stars, I would! We placed my 88 year old mother in this facility. At first all seemed well. The staff was friendly and it seemed clean and comfortable for Mom. After hearing that Mom was in pain from Mother's Day on, EVERY day, so much so that she could not do physical therapy, my sister bundled her into a wheelchair and took her to Sutter Hospital, on May 21. Tried to go visit family got a bunch of misinformation and kicked out by an employee just to be told by the supervisor that I was allowed to visit after the fact I left . Very bad business

The minute you enter the building, the smell hits you. My mother was cared for in this place, her room did not look like the room on the website, it was dark, there was an old TV on a dresser, the bathroom was small and unclean. There were oldsters in wheechars throughout the halls with one little old lady almost tipped out to the side. Personnel just rushed by her. The place was chaos. I met some admission staff that were nice and very helpful but we had some issues with the direct people who cared for the clients. I hope they improve their service and professionalism that all patients deserve.

This is long, but read it if you are considering this facility for your loved one. If it were possible to select zero stars, I would. We needed a SNF for my mom to receive intensive therapy after a hip replacement. Not given any guidance from the hospital as they cannot recommend facilities, we ended up at Western Slope. This place wouldn't be recommended for someone you hate, much less, love. It is a pit. Please research the "health centers" and "rehabilitation facilities" in our town thoroughly before putting a loved one in their "care." Western Slope has good aides, fair nurses, nice support staff, but the heads of departments, for the most part, and all of the administration are decidedly sub-par.
