Not even sure our visit deserves 1 star to be honest. Brought my 5 year old lab in for what I had already assumed was kennel cough. It was confirmed that he did indeed have kennel cough and they went on to talk about drug therapy. The veterinarian gave us two antibiotics, one for the kennel cough and one for the diarrhea he was also experiencing. I had asked for some type of cough suppressant also, as my dog had not been able to sleep in two nights due to his cough. Initially the technician tried to convince me that his anti... read more

I sincerely feel the need to share a bad experience we had at Westford Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center, LLC. We arrived at 5:40pm, my fur baby was having abdominal pain and in a lot of distress. They took us to a procedure room and had someone taking his virals. The veterinarian came to our procedure room at 8:10pm, only because I went to the front desk to complain about the waiting. At no point during the waiting, we had anyone coming by our room to check in if my fur baby was doing ok or to let us know why we had to... read more

Do not come here if your looking for emergency care for your pet! Our puppy injured her leg and our vet was closed because of the holiday. We went early this morning to the westford office. Waited a very long time with our puppy and 3 yr old but we just figured they were probably short staffed. Finally we were called in. The vet came in and looked at the puppy's leg while I held her down. He then said that someone would come in with an estimate, took the puppy in the back and put her in a kennel. We sat in the room for anot... read more

Wondering if anyone else has had a negative experience with dr. Massat. He misdiagnosed my dog, told me he would fix the ocd in his leg with an arthroscope, ended up making a large incision in his leg and not fixing anything. ... And still charged me $3000. Now my poor puppy has a large incision in his leg and is on bedrest for 4 weeks... for nothing. I would recommend dont pay for a surgery with him beforehand like i did! If anyone else has had this experience please let me know i would like to see what we can do.

So as a result of being worried about yoda's injuries on his backside we went back to the vet today and he saw his normal vet who informed us that the injuries are 3rd degree burns inflicted to him while he was sedated and put on a heating pad or stone. These injuries were not the result of his visit at Angell Animal Hospital because they shaved him there and noticed what they thought was a bruise. These injuries were inflicted when he was seen at Westford Animal Hospital/E.R. I will never take my cat there ever.

My pug and best friend got sick and needed lots of help to survive. I wanted desperately for him to live and get the treatment he needed. This hospital would not treat him unless I paid in full before they would save him. I did not have the thousands of dollars on me. He died. I'm not asking for free treatment but a payment plan would have saved my baby. Thank for nothing.
