Westville is awesome! Great for a date night or dinner with a friend. They have great drink specials during the week and if that's not your thing, the food is exceptional. Their kale salad is one of my favorite salads ever. Market vegetables are also a huge hit. The downside is it's small and can be loud so not great for a big group and you definitely need to make a reservation!

I have gone to Westville twice since moving to NYC last month. I love how they have market vegetables, and very healthy options in general. The only con is their avocado toast is below average; every other dish is amazing! Highly recommend!

Bright and open casual dining spot in the East Village! I had a quinoa artichoke burger and it was stellar! One of the best vegetarian burgers I've had. And the french fries that came with it were so crunchy, salty and delicious. I had a drink called London fog which was Earl Grey tea, vanilla syrup and steamed milk, not as sweet as it sounds but just sweet enough and very tasty. I have been to pretty much all of the Westvilles and they are all fabulous. It is my husband's favorite NYC restaurant and we usually go whenever we're in town and have time for a sit-down meal. The food is absolutely fresh and the veggies are delicious. It is one of the few American food restaurants that I would be happy to be vegetarian for a day or even a year. I really appreciate that this place has so many vegetarian options though I'm definitely a vegetarian that likes to eat more then vegetables. I got a veggie hotdog and Brussels sprouts. The fake hotdog was so good and I was able to get one with chili on it. My friend got a salad. It's very big so she did not finish it. This place is really great if you have a group people with different dietary preferences.

A vegetarians heaven right here! So many delicious veggie options available... as well as delicious meat options for others! We came in last Wednesday around 7. We made reservations but it didn't seem necessary at that time of the week. We spent a while deciding on our order. We ordered the blended mint lemonade for a drink. I notoriously despise vegetables... except for when I get them at Westville. I was gushing about this fact to my server a few weeks ago when they informed me that the majority of Westville's veggies, including my favorite (the artichokes), were actually canned. In fact, my server actually dissuaded me from getting vegetables with my meal at all. I really appreciated their candor, though. We receive all the rest of our market vegetables fresh and daily, which has been our practice for the last 17 years. I've been to three or four Westville locations, and this one is one of the more crowded ones. I would recommend making a reservation or getting here on the early side. We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night. The hostess told us it would be about a 20 minute wait, and we ended up waiting 35 minutes. The food is consistent though. They always have great specials, and the market veggies are super fresh. The mac & cheese is amazing, definitely try it if you go. They have a small beer and wine menu as well.
