Westville is great for an affordable, comfortable, healthy, and incredibly tasty meal with friends. Day-of reservations for 8 being available made me worry it'd be empty, but the restaurant was pleasantly full (not overcrowded) and the food was just phenomenal. I stuffed my face, but because the delectable market sides are all fresh, local veggies, I was comfortably full while still feeling alert and happy, which is not often the case with my gluttony. I will be back all the time.
You can't beat Westville for a delicious & nutritious brunch. My sister and I stopped in after running along the West Side Highway late Saturday morning. The hostess was extremely kind as she offered us a table outside on the sidewalk or inside the airy space. We choose inside as it was more pleasant and exciting to be seated in the mix of the busy brunch crowd. I order the weekend brunch special - Salmon Scramble, which consisted of diced salmon, capers, goat cheese and avocado in eggs. It was very tasty! I am not a big "se... read more
Second visit to this casual spot, Very unfancy with good beer list but limited wine. Food very good and reasonably priced/
Westville is always one of my go to restaurants. The food is always consistently good and the menu has plenty of options that range from comfort food to healthier choices. Their brunch options are a bit different from the traditional brunch menu which I like. I highly recommend the shakshuka for brunch. This is a mediterranean dish which I was very pleased to see on their menu and was excellent.
This menu has a terrific array of fish, chicken and meat and the dedicated vegetable specials board was outstanding. It is creative and has a great variety with a 4 for $15 option. The buzzy bar gave the place a great vibe.
I love westville, their $16 for 4 freshly prepared market veggies is a steal and even for an avid meat eater ends up being my entree every time I come here. That plus a couple of appetizers and a lemonade makes for an amazingly filling dinner that is a little less guilty. Dinner is significantly better than brunch. And they adhere STRICTLY to the 15 minute grace period on weekends which are always packed.
large dining space, tables not jumbled together.Huge selecrion of vegetables that are well prepared and presented
Wide variety of food on menu. The brunch was delicious and reasonably priced.
I really like this restaurant. The restaurant unpretentious, relaxed and they have a large assortment of options. I think a lot of the more trendy farm to table restaurants could learn a thing from them. They were about 20 different market side options, we tried 6. We did the market platter as an appetizer. The portions were all large and delicious. The dijonaise cauliflower and the roasted artichokes were probably my favorite. For entrees we had the trout, so very good, excellently seasoned, and the pork chop. The pork chop... read more
