Rather upsetting experience a few nights ago. Provided this feedback directly to restaurant but no response. Posting this Tuesday evening after messaging on Saturday. We were eating dinner ~ 6 pm when a solo diner began screaming at a family with 2 small children who were active and acting like children (not staying in seats.) He was loud and profane. Appetizers and shared plates were delicious. We were a party of 6. Staff seemed overwhelmed and our mains came out 10 minutes apart for different people in our party which made for an awkward situation. Do we send the 2 cold dinners back or do 2 people eat cold dinners?

I have been dining a Mitchell restaurants for years. And Ocean Club has always been my favorite. Great consistent food, welcoming service and overall fun experience. My last several visits I’ve notice a decline in all but last night was the nail in the coffin. We arrived and the hostess took us to our table which was in the far back room (not a small accomplishment for my 85 year old mother in law). When we got there our table was taken. Very slow kitchen, wait staff did not check on us or provide update for 45 minutes, and they weren’t that busy. Food only ok. Really bad experience overall.

I love Westville, however I find there entrees sometimes to be hit or miss. I do appreciate their efforts to keep the menu clean of additives.

First time at this Westville location and everything was great except for the space itself. It was uncomfortable and truly uninviting. Who made those choices? Because of this, it's doubtful I'll return. That's really too bad because the food was great, the service was excellent and the price really good. My friend felt exactly the same way. We often meet for lunch on the UWS and will find another place next time. Sorry, Westville.
