I wish I could give them 5 stars, but I don't feel like my concerns were listened to. My cat was very sick, and after 2 previous hospital stays (elsewhere) nobody had answers. Based on the medical tests run and his symptoms, everything seemed to line up with sepsis from a tooth root abscess (based on academic and veterinary articles on sepsis). They said this wasn't likely, but their X-rays confirmed an abscess. Cats who had sepsis need a special diet, but they still didn't believe me that it could have been sepsis (I was ... read more

My mother and I took our dogs here regularly for many years with great service and support. However things went steeply downhill after they were aquired by national veterinary Association. The friendly attentiveness is gone as are the star staff members (shout-out to Dr. Magli Lequient you are the best!) And they now seem to only care about charging you money, not for the wellbeing of your fur-babies. What happened: We had a dog go in for a tooth-cleaning and were told based on initial inspection that tooth pulling was no... read more

White Pine has been a trip to deal with. Pros: Friendly front office staff Easy to schedule when I had more of an emergency issue with my pup Cons: -My dog had surgery two weeks ago that was framed as necessary due to what showed up in an xray the day prior. She was given fluids in that instant and the next day brought in for her surgery. $1440 later no foreign object was found and no real explanation on what happened. Also, no xray before surgery? My guess is that surgery could've been avoided all together. -Two weeks p... read more

Zero stars. High prices and terrible customer service. They charged me $300 for X-rays that I didn't ask for. These of course turned up nothing, and my dog ended up having a bacterial infection that a course of antibiotics cured. I asked for a refund or discount on the X-rays. No chance. Take your business elsewhere.

Business response:

Cynthia, We would love for you to reach out to us so we can discuss your experience with us as soon as possible. Our team has been educated to provide estimates for procedures when asked by the clients and if that did not occur for you we certainly want to know so other clients do not have a similar experience. We have not raised our prices at White Pine in 4 years in an effort to keep our services affordable in this challenging economy. We would be happy to correct any error that occurred in your experience if you will reac... read more

I was very unsatisfied with the quality of the clinic. The office manager Mr. Travers did not make us feel as though our beloved pet was in safe hands. I will not be returning with either of my son's dogs.

They used to be really nice when they were locally owned, but they have gone corporate and the quality has fallen. I have since switched to another local place.

Business response:

Janet, I am very sorry to hear this. We would love the chance to talk with you and see if there is anything we can do. We care deeply for our patients and their owners and work our hardest to provide the best medical care. Please reach out to us and we would be happy to address your concerns in an effort to improve our service going forward. Every client experience is important to us and we are in direct control of our clients experience. Our culture is not driven by our corporate partners.

My dogs have been going to White Pine Veterinary Clinic for the 8 years we've lived in Park City. Unfortunately, the quality of care has totally declined since their ownership change a few years ago First, one of my labs stopped eating. Any lab owner can tell you that when they aren't interested in eating, there's definitely a problem... My dog had developed a severe infection that White Pine just simply refused to treat, instead choosing to have us "monitor" her for a week until it got so bad that after finally bringing... read more

I've been a client at White Pine Veterinary Clinic, with my various pets, for 19 years. This clinic has totally gone downhill since it was bought out a couple years ago. I've had a horrible experience this month and will never bring another pet here. Save your pets and your wallet and go somewhere with caring doctors. I wish I could give this clinic 0 stars.

Business response:

Patty, we are truly sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us and appreciate you taking the time to chat in more detail. Our number one goal is to offer exceptional care and service, so please know we take this feedback seriously.
