I really wanted to like this clinic since they are one of the few with Fear Free vets in this area. After many chances, each visit more disappointing than the last, I will not be returning. The first issue was when they gave me two sets of contradicting instructions for treating my dog's ear infection. Don't take your pet here if you need diagnostic work done. A friends dog had gotten mange from staying at a kennel and a few weeks later we noticed our dog had intense itching and hair loss. There was no doubt in my mind he contracted mange from this other dog. I took my dog to WPV to get an official diagnosis and the prescription I needed to treat it. Since dr. McDonald left this place is a nightmare! My dog went in at 7:30 a.m. for teeth cleaning and I was told his liver count was 2000. I was upset all day and did not get a call back until 7:30 at night. It was a nightmare. Right now I'm sick I live in Salt Lake and my dog is sick with diarrhea. And they will not send the prescription down Witch Doctor McDonald's did all the time. They aren't following their own COVID-19 policy. When I was there people were waiting in the lobby and a man was there not wearing the mandated mask. I had to go in and wait in a tiny exam room to drop my dog off and again to pick my dog up. In these exam rooms social distancing is all but impossible. And, we are breathing HVAC air that can concentrate viruses because there isn't full exchange with outside air. Staff at front desk were not wearing masks indoors consistently. I dropped my puppies for boarding for two weeks as we went on vacation and then a business trip. I sent puppy food with them as well. I decided to stop by on my way out of town to check on them and their food was still up front by the desk. So they didn't get fed all day long after I told them what their schedule is and that they needed to be fed. After I brought it up they took the food right back to the kennels. My experience here has not been very good. One of the vets is really awesome I think her name is Dr. Burchet or something like that. She really cares about dogs, but unfortunately their devices aren't really all that updated and good enough for great vet medicine. I don't see myself taking my dog here anymore. The dog daycare place is good but they dont really have good customer service becuase they wouldn't be able to give youan itemized list of services used. What the other post says about Dr. Lequin is true...she is a great vet. Too bad she is surrounded by other incompetent part timers (vets) that add risk to your visit. After pulling all of our files and our account from White Pine, not so much as a call from management or owners to find out why we left. The speaks loudly of how the place is run. I hope Dr. Lequin gets a better offer elsewhere.
