Jim was clearly knowledgeable about grapes and passionate about Arizona wines, which we appreciated. However, for the $225 per person cost, we expected a more substantial experience. Visiting only two wineries and receiving just 8 tastings felt underwhelming for the price. We were hoping for a more immersive or extensive tour to match the premium cost.

Business response:

Hi Tracy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your business and are grateful you chose to explore Arizona wine country with us. While we're glad to hear you found Jim knowledgeable and passionate—something many of our guests value highly—we’re sorry to hear the overall experience didn’t meet your expectations. Our tours are designed to be private, educational, and relaxed, allowing guests to enjoy a curated wine tasting journey without being rushed or crowded. The tour you selected... read more

He makes assumptions about other businesses without contacting them first to clarify. Talking negatively about his competition to make a big deal over them driving “on forest land” when they aren’t doing that. Misleading and false statements

Business response:

I believe you are speaking of my comment regarding Pink Jeep when I observed their vehicle at a marked closed trailhead during a forest service closure due to fire restrictions. I actually DID call Pink Jeep directloy and asked to speak to a manager but was told they were busy. I expressed that it was urgent and they simply blew me off. So yes I did call the forest service because the safety of our forest and land is very important to me. During a forest service closure, having a Pink Jeep bend the rules of the closure sets ... read more

Initially I said we had a great time with Jim! He was knowledgeable and it was a unique experience. However, the tour was supposed to include complimentary photos. So we let him photograph us with his phone instead of doing our own pictures. It has now been over two weeks since our tour and he has not sent the pictures. Both my husband and I have tried to contact him and nothing! It is so frustrating that Jim has not communicated with us and that we will not have any positive memories of our first time alone together since w... read more

Business response:

Hi Amy, Thank you so much for your honest feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in getting your complimentary tour photos to you. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been, especially since this was such a meaningful occasion for you and your husband—your first special time together since having kids deserves to be remembered! We truly regret the lack of communication on our part, and it was never our intention to cause you any disappointment. Your photos were sent via email today... read more

I deeply regret booking with Wine Tours of Sedona. Jim Reich is a despicable scam artist with very questionable character. He offered a complimentary wine tour to my bachelorette group in exchange for tags and posts on our social media pages. Apparently the 5+ timeline posts and numerous story tags were not enough to satisfy him and he tried pushing through a $1,350 charge to my credit card. Luckily I have our initial agreement in writing and multiple witnesses on my side. We each had already paid $200 in wine tastings as we... read more

Business response:

Hi Jazlyn, We take all reviews seriously—especially critical ones—but your account is filled with falsehoods that we cannot ignore. First and foremost, no social media posts were ever made as promised. We have verified this across all platforms. The agreement for your group to receive a discounted tour was contingent on genuine influencer exposure, which you failed to deliver. Despite that, your group received exactly what was offered: a customized wine tour where you paid for your own tastings, as outlined in advance and ... read more

I once loved the Wine tours of Sedona. But I recently saw a post where the owner was encouraging someone to commit Suicide. What kind of business owner wants patrons to kill themselves??? I recommend that everyone takes their business to somewhere else that will appreciate every person.

Business response:

Hi Kayla, We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns, but we want to be clear that the claim you're referring to is entirely false and was made by someone who was never a customer of Wine Tours of Sedona. The comment in question was taken completely out of context and has since been misrepresented online in a harmful and misleading way. As a business that has proudly served the Sedona community and its visitors since 2004, we take issues of mental health very seriously and would never condone or make light of... read more

Do not support a man and a business that bullies. Encouraging a fellow local to commit suicide is ridiculous. Humanity, at its worst!

Business response:

Hi Veronica, We’re deeply saddened by your comment and want to be clear: the claims being circulated are false and have been taken completely out of context. At no point has anyone at Wine Tours of Sedona encouraged or condoned harm toward another person. These accusations were made by individuals who were never customers and who have misrepresented a private exchange in a way that is both damaging and untrue. We take mental health seriously and would never make light of such a serious issue. For over 20 years, we’ve built... read more
