I have lived at my location for 2 years and never had an issue that was not addressed, until now. I left in good standing and assumed my security deposit would be used for carpet replacement and minor cleaning upon move out. I have an excessive bill and when explained to me, it is nothing at all mentioned in the lease. I would really like to settle this debt, but fairly and accurately is all I ask. I have yet to receive a call back from corporate.

I have lived in my apartment for almost six years. I really enjoyed living here at first. I am disabled, but recently went back to work part time to supplement my income. I had asked about 3 years ago about getting a walk in shower and a new commode put in, one that sits higher than a standard commode. On 04/02/2025, I contact Leewood Place in Fremont, OH. Zillow showed there were three available units. When I spoke with the woman working there she told me that these units were for people who had more income, I have a section 8 housing voucher, and she told me I could pay the $35 application fee and get on the waiting list if I am approved but I was not eligible to move into one of those units since I am lower income. So I sent the email listed below back in September 2024. I was never contacted directly or even got a response to my email, but instead my landlord was told that my carpet will not be getting replaced after living her for almost 15yrs but they will pay to have it cleaned and also have my house painted. Here we are almost 7mos later and still no action. They can't keep any maintenance here and I can see why. I have seen at least 2 homes that have been here less than me get new carpet. I have lived in this development for five years and my lease is up in February 2025, however, between paying the high amount of rent that I pay per month on an income of around $25,000 per year, $1500-$1700 per month, leaves me with next to nothing for bills. So I’ve put in maintenance orders for five things that need to be fixed that have been an issue since April and so far nothing has been fixed (I’ll give it another week).
