Waited 15 minutes after being sat for water and wait staff. 530 reservation and out of goat cheese balls. Decor is cheap and cheesy. Menu doesn’t make sense.

my wife and I enjoyed only one of the appetizers that we had intended to try. Reason: we got no attention from our server for 55 minutes after our order was placed, before we were told that there was a delay in the kitchen receiving our order. We only got to enjoy their famous Gruyere bread, two beverages, tuna tartare, and lobster ceviche crisps due to almost an hour delay in getting our appetizers and the lateness of the hour given, our reservations were at 7:30. The hostesses were nice, but not helpful. Took 20 min to get seated after checking in (with a reservation early in the night.... on purpose to avoid that). Once seated, we sat for more than 5 min before anyone acknowledged we existed. I'd heard the food was great and it didn't disappoint. Let me start with what it’s a beautiful place with gorgeous decor. Hover, food was mediocre and few things we tried had so much burned oil what I only took a bite. We finished our waters and no one stopped by to replenish them for an hour. They also forgot what it was a birthday dinner and didn’t read it in the notes. Food was just ok and very, very heavy on the garlic (which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it was definitely the dominant flavor). There were four of us in our party and others at the table also remarked on how heavy the garlic flavor was, even though we all had different items. The overall service was not great at all: the hostess staff was unfriendly and not welcoming, and once we were seated table service was very slow. We recently dined here for what was meant to be a relaxed lunch with beautiful views and great ambiance — and to be fair, the setting truly delivers. The food was also very good once it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the service significantly overshadowed the experience. Our reservation was for 1:45pm, yet we weren’t seated until after 2:00. I made a reservation and when we arrived they were unable to seat us. The hostess sent us upstairs to a rooftop bar that was not even part of Wolf. We were told we get a call when our seats were available. I never received a call. We checked back in 30 mins later and still no availability.
