We had a reservation for 2 of us and the 2 different tables that were offered to us were awkwardly round and so large we would not have been able to hear each other. The chairs are so cumbersome and large that we would not have been able to move them to be a closer distance at the table to hear each other in this very loud venue. Beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately, the food came out cold and some dishes were too salty. The service wasn’t up to standards.

Had a reservation for 7:00pm and did not get seated until 7:25pm. They seated multiple groups in front of us who came in much later. Once inside the server was great and food was good. The seats at our table did not have a backrest was essentially an ottoman so my back was rather sore after dinner.

We sat literally right behind the host stand it became cold since they had the patio doors open by the pool. It took us a hot minute to get us our beverages and then coursing out our meals was off significantly. We were done before way before the next entrée showed up. Beverages were empty didn’t get asked for more drinks til we asked. I don’t know how many tables she had going but Monday night late night and for the money spent just expecting better for the price point, restaurant and location..

From start to finish this experience was not amazing. Even tho we had a reservation we had to wait 20 mins for our table. Once we got our table half our party literally had to dine in a backless stool. Our server greeted us by saying they had good food and cheap prices. So off-putting. The timing of the drinks and food was so off. Received food and then received drinks by the time we finished our food. This happened both during apps and the main course. The ambiance was cool and beautiful! All of the drinks were great as well as the food. However the service wasn’t great. I had a reservation for 7:15 and unfortunately didn’t get seated until 8pm. There wasn’t much communication other than were running behind and they said maybe 20 minutes but it was more than double that. I went for my birthday and have been to Sur for my birthday in the past where they do the sparkler candle for the experience. An overall horrible experience. Our reservation was set for 445 and we weren’t sat for an hour and a half later. The excuse was “ We don’t have many tables for 8”. Lack-lister response and I don’t buy it. Given this, we’re forced to sit outside by the pool where it was chilly, and we were pressured over and over to have our dinner outside instead of inside. I thought the decor was great based on the name and vibe of restaurant. Was very disappointed in the service. From the front receptionist not helpful at all to say they don’t do wait lists or give recommendations how to best book. We ended up going to open table and putting an alert and got in. I made the reservation 30 days in advance for a birthday celebration. Very disappointed that the birthday was not acknowledged. We were seated at a small table, basically at the end of the bar at the entrance where you have people standing around.  I don’t believe anybody paid any attention to details.
