My dog boarded there for 15 days. My dog has boarded there before so they have records of his stays. The first morning someone called to tell me he had diarrhea, possibly bloody, and I had two probiotics choices (costing $50 each) that I could pick or them to give him. My dog always is anxious the first night anywhere different. I told them to wait a day to see how he did before I wanted anything administered. They reluctantly agreed and then it was CRICKETS. I later found out it was "loose stool", no blood and he was ... read more

Business response:

Hi Mary Ann, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear how frustrated and disappointed you felt during your dog’s recent stay. First, I want to apologize for the stress caused by the initial call regarding his stool. Our team’s intention is always to notify owners right away of any change we observe so you can be involved in decisions about your pet’s care. However, I understand how alarming it is to hear that there may have been blood. I’m sorry that the follow-up communication did no... read more

My dog came home injured. I placed him in the care of woodmoor kennel for 6 days and he came home hurting. It has been only 2 days and we are still discovering new injuries. He had a slight limp and pain near a front paw. In addition we discovered his tail is injured along with his shoulder area. I called to find out what happened to the healthy dog I dropped off a few days prior. I spoke with Denise, the kennel manager. She was very protective of her staff insisting they did nothing wrong, but did say she would ... read more

Business response:

We are very sorry to hear about your concerns and take all feedback seriously. Our team provided attentive care to your dog during his stay, and upon your call, we immediately reviewed all available footage and discussed in detail what was observed. The videos showed your dog moving normally in all common areas, as well as when being taken in and out of his kennel, with no signs of distress or injury at any time. While we do not have a camera pointed directly inside each kennel, we are able to review footage of anyone enteri... read more

I have been there twice now. The first time was great. The second time not so much. They don't work with any pharmacies, won't call in a prescription. They fail to tell you that you have to come to their office to pick up a written prescription, they see no urgency when your pet is running out of a prescription due to a dosage change on a medication that can't just be stopped. They wouldn't talk to the pharmacy when they called the office trying to help me. Obviously they don't really care about the animals they are treating... read more

Repeated lack of prompt & proper communication along with mismanagement of records is putting my dogs life in danger. Moving to another practice ASAP. Dr. Baker may be a caring and attentive vet but if your staff cannot manage records or communicate urgent results then that doesn't matter.

I have a 13 year old arthritic dog that just needs meds to keep her comfortable. They did check my dog out and gave me two weeks of pain meds but then would not refill because she did not have a rabies vaccine. And on top of that they are very expensive. I would not recommend there are too many other awesome vets in the area.

When I asked for price for rabies shot and other shot I was given price less than $60. When I went to pay I was charged an additional $18. This is downright dishonest.

Just as so many others have reviewed we had a very bad experience and no longer use this vet. we've found one across the highway that is better suited to our needs.

As a lot of you know my dog suffered a tear of her ACL. Because she's old, diabetic, blind and we live in a 3 story townhouse we decided on comfort measures. After getting home, I researched one of her "medications " as I wasn't familiar. The veterinarian wanted her on Denamarin for her liver function because she's on Carprofen and Gabapentin for pain and inflammation. The Denamarin is a supplement, SamE and milk thistle. I was charged $122.48 for a supplement!! When I called them today to say I wanted a refund they stated t... read more

The Absolute Worst Vet experience I have had in my 40 years of being a pet owner!! They are outrageously expensive and the care is poor at best. We were quoted a price for treatment of an injury and ended up paying 4x the initial quote. When I very nicely asked for an explanation for all the additional costs the office lady literally yelled at me in the lobby! I highly recommend you take your pet elsewhere.
