stick with the named brand went back to the Polaris brand and couldn't be happier. Tried a cheaper knockoff and it ended up really affecting the pool "sweeping" process. completely not worth it! stay with the Polaris brand.. it's just not worth it!

No gasten dinero en este equipo. Llevo comprado 4 en los últimos 8 años. No suelen durar más de 2, pero este solo funcionó un mes.
Stopped working after one season Worked for 5 months, then stopped working all together. The closest person they recommend who could look at it is one hour away and all they can do is scan it to see if they can help. For an $800 product, this is ridiculous. Do not buy.
Lasted only 6 MONTHS!!! Was working great until one day it just stopped working. Checked the voltage at the unit and it is getting 29V and there are no obstructions, so I am assuming it is the motor. I can understand a product not lasting 2-3 years, but to not even make it 6 MONTHS is ridiculous!
Caution buying Constantly breaks and stops working. Was fantastic for the first couple months then didn’t even make it 4 months before needing to be shipped back for repairs.
Not recommended getting stuck on steps and angles I would not purchase this again. I spend more time getting it off my stairs when it gets stuck than it actually cleans. The cable is very unsightly across the pool deck. I wish I would’ve gone for a battery operated unit and I regret not looking at the reviews more in depth and seeing how often they get stuck on steps.
Leaks Swivel started leaking one week after installation. Not a good quality part.
Polaris BS I bought these thinking Polaris would be better original equipment, manufacture for the hose and the cleaner. These leaked almost instantly and they do not swivel. I have to untangle the hose at least 3 to 4 times a day on a daily basis. They’re not doing what they’re supposed to do and for the price it’s real crap.
