Five Stars Easy installation. Running for two months now and keeps my pool clean.
Works like a Champ We purchased this due to the recommendation of our pool maintenance service, and are VERY happy with the performance. Besides the obvious main use of keeping the pool bottom clean, which it does an amazing great job, it does not climb above the water line, so you don't get that annoying, gasping sound other pool vacuums make. Totally silent.
This cleaner kicks bu**! Had a cheap knock-off - threw it in the trash after 3 months. Bought this model and at first was just ok. Used the supplied pressure gauge and determined the flow when using one of my 2 skimmers to power the cleaner was on the low side so I made a few changes and I now love it. I had a dedicated pressure line for my Polaris - converted it to a suction line and now I run the Baracuda using it. Great Value. Strongly recommend. After trying to resurrect my second T5 Io gave up and replaced it with the G3 because it was highly recommended by local pool supply personnel. My pressure settings were already right on 3, so it only took me about 10-15 minutes to unbox it and hook up the G3. Started working perfectly where the old and tired T5 was barely moving and not covering all of the pool. Working Great This unit works very well in my in-ground pool. Initially it kept getting hung up on the bottom step of the pool, but after making a few adjustments to the vacuum control valve and changing the direction of flow from the pool jets it is doing a really great job.
Five Stars I highly recommend this product. It works great.
and this cleans like 200% better replaced a robot one, and this cleans like 200% better. Yes, the water vibrates more in the pool, and yes it makes a noise if you listen really closely, but it does am amazing job and gets in area and places that our other vacuum never went. It has only gotten stuck twice in the last 4 months, once on the steps and once on crossing the lines with the inline pool filter. We live in Florida with no screen over pool, so it runs 10 hours a day 365 days a year.
