Small debris doesn’t stop this cleaner. You get what you pay for. This cleaner works great on the suction side with 1/2 hp pump. If you battle small scrub or water oak leaves, this works much better than the cleaners with the moving flapper because there are no moving parts for the leaves to jam.
Five Stars Really great pool vac. 2nd one we have had, and does a great job.
Some hiccups out of the box making rating a 4 - otherwise a 5! After only 3 seasons with a $600 Dolphin Nautilus - took it in for repair to hear there was no value in fixing it. I spent hours researching where to turn next. I did not want to spend another $600 on something high maintenance and finally settled on a suction cleaner. I got home from work and I was not real happy at first when I opened the box and about 7 or 8 parts came out. I thought it came preassembled? Worth every penny! I love it! My pool has never looked better, I leave it hooked up it cleans the pool whenever the pump comes on. It gets up the sides the entire bottom, on windy days when leaves are blown in the pool it’s completely clean after a couple runs

... one of these for 8 years and it was great, but when I moved I used one of these for 8 years and it was great, but when I moved, I chose the Pentair Sand Shark for past 4 years. I recently switched back to the Barracuda because it does a much better job scaling and sticking to the side walls.
Five Stars Great price. Owned the G3 for years. 1st one lasted many years so I repurchased.
