Great cleaner, good price This cleaner works very well for a good price. It took a little experimenting with the position of the connection to the suction line so that it would not stay at the shallow end stuck on the steps. I also added a second, small deflector wheel above the included wheel, although I'm not sure whether that's helping. The smaller wheel was left over from the zodiac T5 this unit is replacing. I have it installed with the zodiac cyclonic leaf catcher, which is wonderful and a great buy.
Great reliable product Establishing the proper hose length is crtical to correct operation. This brand cleaner has served us well over the years.
I am replacing a creepy crawler that never cleaned like this. The only problem I've had is it ... I just got my Baracuda about a month ago. My pool hasn't been this clean in a couple of years. Its doing a pretty good job Its doing a pretty good job. The vacuum stops a lot with no debris in the tube and I'm not sure why. It can't handle sweetgum balls or other tree pods, they just stop up the tube and she stops and you have to remove the blockage to get it going again. I was frustrated by the fact there is a yellow piece on the bottom of the cuda that is what the disk attaches too. To my amazement this thing actually works. My wife ... To my amazement this thing actually works. My wife wanted this for our new pool and I had my doubts but as soon as we got it setup it was off to cleaning. We let it run for a couple hours and came back to a near spotless pool. Deciphering the instructions for setup was probably the hardest part of the setup, but once I understood what it was looking for me to do it wasn't difficult to setup at all.
