Does what I intended it to do. Wish the diagram would have lasted longer but I have no idea how it compares to others
tried chinese knockoff - ended up going back to zodiac I did try some cheap chinese knockoffs. they did work great until they didn't. broke after 11 months at the core. zodiac won't last forever either, but a good 5-10 years (with replacing some smaller parts)
Great for free form pools This pool vacuum was recommended by my Pool guy. It works incredibly well with my kidney shaped pool and doesn’t flip over like my old one did.
Works Well We are pleasantly surprised, exceeds our expectations. It was getting stuck in two corners by stairs until I adjusted the pool valves to run the pressure a little higher than they recommend, and played with the weight position, finally removed it completely, now it never gets stuck. Goes up the walls very well. Our pool has never looked better. Does a much better job than our previous wheel-driven one that needed to have moving parts replaced periodically.
Easy to use I purchased this G3 as a replacement for the last one that lasted almost 10 years. Easy to use . Sometimes I have to brush the shallow end into the deeper, but that is OK. I don't need to manually vacuum anything, just brush. Price is high, but I'm hoping it lasts as long as the previous one.
Stopped working after only 6 months Initially, we were very happy with this purchase; then just one day it stopped working? We checked everything from the pool pump to filter. checked unit for damage and found nothing. it just stopped working! very unhappy with the amount of money we spent you'd think it would last longer than barely 6 months!
Cleans Most of the Pool Only used it 3 times, but it seems to get to most areas of our pool. I've seen it on the 1st and 2nd steps and it climbs the walls pretty well. I plan to take the wheel deflector off to see if it will get to the third step and the spa ledge. (Wish I had tried it out before putting the deflector on; looks like taking it off will be challenging.) Works as advertised Takes some getting used to as far as adjusting the pump to get the appropriate level of suction. Also, we remove our ladder when running the cleaner to avoid it from getting hung up. But it is effective at cleaning.
