Best design of the in-ground pool sweepers This is my second Zodiac Baracuda G3 sweeper. I used my previous one for over 7 years. In that time I replaced the foot once and the valve twice. It is the easiest of the suction-side sweepers to service. Only one moving part. I used Kreepy Krauly for many years, but their materials quality got disappointing by my third unit. Hard to get it work but it is a real Barracuda! Works very good. Took me to watch two videos to make it work correctly. Now i am very happy. This climbs the steps and into the walls. Keeps my pool clean without effort.
NICE COME TO FIND OUT IT WAS NOT MY VACUUM THAT WAS BROKEN BUT I HAVE A CRACKED SKIMMER , SO NOW I HAVE 2 PRETTY NEW VACUUMS
Great sweeper Good product works great for our play pool never have problems except for easy replacement parts ever few years,
As the product becomes aged, the plastic parts will break and put holes in the liner of the pool. This is my second one. It keeps the bottom of the pool clean. It is better than using a vacuum, as it does not stir the dirt around it pulls it out.
Great if your pool has a simple design and not much steps and sharp angles. It takes some time to get the pool jets adjusted for me but not every pool is the same. My pool has lost of sharp lines and stares. Which in my opinion its struggles with, but my pool still stays very clean and the price compared to other solutions is very reasonable.
It works! I've been using a Zodiak Barracuda G3 for 8 years. I've replaced the diaphragms regularly, as is the norm. I replaced the rubber pad once. From time to time, I've had to replace a part of the tubing (the package comes with 12 sections, so extra replacement sections are provided). Although my old one is still functioning, I bought a new one, since this one is so old. I expect it will be more efficient than the 8 year old one.

Great head , Wish I had known about the pro model. Comes with a bunch of accessories fir different installation scenarios. I have a suction hose already with an older zodiac, so I just needed to replace the head. The instructions suck. They are confusing and you ha e to figure out the whole thing yourself. Even the YouTube videos don’t show you the details of installation. Had to figure it out on my own and still wasn’t sure if I got it right.
