Long term owner, still well worth the money It's not often you can buy a product that is so elegantly simple, durable, and easily maintained. The product simply uses the suction from the vacuum to move along the surface of the pool and pick up debris. It occasionally gets hung up on a long stick or a rock that gets jammed inside the diaphragm but it is easily removed in under a minute. Clean Pool Use on my inground vinyl pool. Cleans very well and gets the whole pool. Had another G3 that finally gave up its ghost after many years work in a non-saltwater pool. Changed to saltwater and got new G3. Very happy with it and vendor got it to me a day earlier than predicted. Very reasonable price.
It just keeps going and going I had purchased an expensive pool cleaner that worked for about a month and quit. I order this one because I had one in the past. This Zodiac cleaner does a great job at one third the cost.
It really works I like how easy it is to assemble and to use. I attach it to the dedicated port below my skimmer basket and am able to have the skimmer work also. It took some experimenting to get the proper balance of suction and weight, etc. But it works beautifully. I do have to readjust the returns periodically to control the movements of the Baracuda so that it covers the entire pool and I still need to manually brush or vacuum certain spots. But I am really pleased and no longer have to vacuum manually.
Worked right out of the box! I've tried many pool cleaners but this is the best. I just snapped it together, hooked it up to the skimmer connection, and it worked. I did not need to make any adjustments to it. Six months later and I still haven't had to pay any attention to it. Like any pool vacuum, some parts will wear out in the future, but parts are readily available. When this one dies, I will replace it with another.
Easiest pool sweep made Lasts 4-5 years
Works good really works good although it does go in a random pattern so parts of the pool need to be manually swept. Better than having to do the whole pool!
Low suction Pool skimmer did not have enough suction to pperate for mre than 30 minutes. While it ran, it was partial to the shallow end. Returned it.
