Don't buy those really expensive ones!! This pool cleaner is GREAT! We used to have one of those REALLY expensive ones. That thing was so persnickety. I had to mess with it every couple of days because it would just stop working. Then it quit all together. We tried this one and love it! I was worried because some of the reviews were questionable. Keeps my pool clean Diaphragm was non functional after installed but I bought another and it worked just fine.
Works.like a charm!!! Should have bought this years ago!!! Saves so much time and energy. Set it and forget it.....pool is spotless. Set up was a breeze....15 minutes and it was ready for the pool. I have a 25' x 14' fiberglass pool. Plenty of hose for my needs....in fact I didnt use them all. Greatest addition to our pool! Our inground pool is surrounded by oak trees and has no cage so keeping our pool clean is a full time job. We had tried other more expensive wheeled pool cleaners but they would always flip over due to the shape of our pool walls or get stuck in corners. This product soled both problems. Within a day of running the bottom of our pool is spotless with not even a grain of sand present. Simple to set up and practically maintenance free. We absolutely love it!

We love it! We have an in ground custom pool that's 10,000 gallons. It features a "Z" shaped cove that is very narrow. The Zodiac G3 does a great job of getting into our atypically shaped area to clean. We are very pleased with our Zodiac and just purchased our second unit. We also live in the desert where we have frequent sand storms and the Zodiac does a great job of keeping debris to a minimum.
Good but not perfect Easy to use and set up but the cleaning pattern repeats itself and leaves areas of the pool untouched. I resolve this by taking out sections of hose to make it clean in a different pattern. So I am able to get the entire pool clean (16 by 32 rectangle with an 8 ft deep end) with a little extra effort. That is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5.
This is my fourth one. It has one moving part. It will cover the entire pool in a day. It lasts about five years of everyday use. Only downside is large debris: acorns, sticks, or large leaves. Pool is not enclosed. Unit is easy to assemble/disassemble, easy to clean and operate.
Great product! This is the very best suction cleaner we have owned in 20 years. Works great with variable speed pump. Picks up leaves no problem.
