Good Pool Suction Vacuum I once had the G4 version of this which lasted 3 years in Florida. After a number of years of manually vacuuming the pool, I finally broke down and purchased a new one. Having experience with these types of suction based pool vacs, I had no issues getting this set up and running as well as what to expect from it. 1) Will clean the bottom of your pool well and if you get enough suction will climb the walls too but that is not the true design of these vacuums. 2) Will not clean stairs. 3) Will eventual... read more

Great unit for the price! Pros and cons are in my review. I replaced my old Hayward Pool Vac with the Zodiac Barracuda G3. I decided on the Zodiac product based on Amazon reviews. I was contemplating a more expensive, 4 wheeled unit but decided to take my chances with the Zodiac. All in all, a great pool cleaner and I’m not disappointed. great buy Does the job. After about a year and a half I had to replace some part because it was still sucking but not moving around the pool. simple wear and tear from what the pool supply store told me. Affordable and does a great job.
Worth buying! Outstanding for the price.
Works perfectly Had an older version of this which came with the house I currently own. Didn’t realize how bad the old one was performing until I got this replacement. Once setup with the right suction level it works perfect. My pool has some tough corners and this sweep never gets stuck. Pool is cleaner than it’s ever been.
