Not worth the buy Only worked for 2 months and trying to get the company to answer on a warranty claim has been impossible. Almost a year later and no respond to a fix to this product.
Craps This is great if you’re looking for a pool vacuum that you have to replace every 12 months. It does great and lasts one year than it craps the bed. I’ve had more than one of them.
Gets stuck easy The media could not be loaded. If you have tile on the edge of steps or list gets stuck and won’t move. I am very unhappy with this expensive purchase.
Could not get MX6 to work I bought my first MX6 in 2021 and thought I knew what I was getting when I bought it again in late 2025. However, the quality of the new MX6 has deteriorated and I could not make it work. When spinning it by hand there is so much friction that the suction of my pool pump is not able to overcome it and get the tracks to rotate. always stuck suck on the drain every morning. Cant go past the drain without being permastuck.
Disappointing Had for 4 months. It does not clean consistently, does more spinning than anything and get stuck way to easy. Would not buy
Short lasting Within a year, the tracks needed replacing then within two years, internal flippers broke. Not worth purchasing. The last compatible one I purchased prior lasted 6 years but maybe it’s better to go with a robot
flawed design Had this model over 3 years and will go with a different product. The design of MX6 (and likely other same-brand models) has engineering flaws. The belt system does not have sufficient traction or height and the unit easily gets stuck at various spots in the pool. The internal driving system could easily get stuck with leaves. Do your research.
Look elsewhere for a pool vacuum! The idea and concept for this vacuum/cleaner is nice but in practice it wears out quickly. I've had to replace the hoses twice before I bought a generic heavy duty hose. The hose connectors leak....in some cases, horribly. The vacuum unit itself worked great for small stuff but if anything bigger than a dime falls in the pool, it will jam the mechanism and it will quit moving.
